Guest Attire
🌿 Tuesday Morning – Sacred Traditions (Ganesh Puja, Graha Shanti, Mandvo & Pithi)
- Women: Soft yellow, pastel pinks, peaches or mint green Indian wear — light lehengas (a three-piece ensemble made up of a long decorative skirt paired with a fitted crop-top blouse and a long scarf), flowy anarkalis (a long, flowing frock-like top with tightly fitted bottoms), or elegant salwar suits (loose fitting bottoms and a long shirt / tunic worn with a scarf) provides comfort and freedom of movement. Avoid heavy embroidery due to turmeric rituals.
- Men: Light kurta-pyjama or dhoti sets (an ankle length breechcloth wrapped around the waist and legs) in pastels or whites, with subtle detailing. Avoid dark or heavy fabrics — keep it fresh and festive.
- 🔔 It’s a splash zone! Suggest guests bring a spare dupatta/scarf they won’t mind staining.
💃 Tuesday Evening – Mehndi & Raas Garba Royale
- Women: Traditional chaniya cholis or lehengas in vibrant colours with mirrorwork, embroidery or bandhani. Twirl-friendly, breathable fabrics encouraged.
- Men: Kediyu, printed or embroidered kurtas with dhotis/churidars, or even festive Nehru jackets.
- 🎁 You’ll be providing traditional Phetas (safas/turbans)* for men — give a try and boss it for the evening look!
💍 Wednesday – The Wedding Ceremony
- Women: Heavily embroidered lehenga, silk sari or contemporary Indo-western with royal touches. Opt for rich colours like deep maroon, emerald, gold, or royal blue.
- Men: Sherwani, bandhgala (the “closed neck” collar), or formal kurta with a stole/saafa. Embroidery, brocade or regal detailing works beautifully here.
- 👠 Footwear tip: Neemrana has cobbled paths — closed flats, wedges or juttis recommended over heels.
Note: Evenings could get chilli so do pack some shawls or cardigans
